I had a truly wonderful stay at a charming hotel in the heart of a beautiful town. The location was perfect, with easy access to the train station, restaurants, and the cable car for hiking. The owner, Henriikka, was incredibly friendly and provided us with fantastic recommendations for exploring the area. The hotel had a cozy atmosphere, and I loved the sound of the waterfall just behind it. The staff were welcoming and always willing to help. Our spacious and spotless apartment made us feel right at home. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the thin duvets and basic breakfast, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this excellent hotel in a great location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We loved staying at Echo. From the friendly owner, who gave us fantastic recommendations, to the hotel's unique location next to a waterfall, everything was perfect. The hotel kept its original charm with antique items in the rooms, giving it a retro 70s vibe. Plus, it was conveniently close to the train station, authentic restaurants, the therme, and the Stubberkogel cable car for hiking. We initially planned to stay for 2 nights but ended up extending our stay to 9 because we enjoyed it so much. We will definitely be coming back!
Nothing negative to say 😊

We stayed at Hotel Echo for 9 nights and had a wonderful experience. The half board option was reasonably priced and the rooms, although basic, were clean and spacious. The hostess, Henriikka, was extremely friendly and went out of her way to ensure our comfort. The hotel's location, just a short walk from the train station and near attractions like the Stubberkogel cable car and authentic restaurants, was perfect for exploring the area. The hotel also had a unique feature - it was situated next to a waterfall, providing an exclusive and picturesque setting. Henriikka's hospitality and helpful recommendations made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The hotel rooms at Hotel Echo are amazing! The double bed is so comfortable, and the view is absolutely stunning. I felt like I was in paradise! Plus, having a kitchen with a fridge, oven, and microwave was really convenient.
Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of the WC. It just didn't feel very comfortable to me. But hey, that's just my personal opinion.

Our visit to the ski areas of Sportgastein, Schlossalm, and Dorfgastein was made incredibly convenient thanks to the nearby ski bus. We could easily hop on and off with our ski gear, making it hassle-free and enjoyable. Additionally, the accommodation had a fun ping pong table where we could have friendly family tournaments, adding an extra element of entertainment to our stay.
For dads, it would be great if there were more play areas for children.

I chose Hotel Echo for its location near the Stubnerkogelbahn, as I wanted to visit the Stubnerkogel Suspension Bridge. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless internet access and laundry facilities provided by this smoke-free hotel. The bar/lounge and restaurant were also great additions, and the availability of a microwave, flat-screen TV, and dining area in the apartment was a bonus.
Tricky route from train station.

During my recent business trip to Bad Gastein, my director chose to book us at Hotel Echo. I must say, it was a fantastic choice. The hotel truly cares about their guests' well-being and relaxation. I treated myself to a massage at the spa and it was absolutely divine. The spa services they offer are top-notch and ensured that I felt rejuvenated after a long day of meetings. The facilities at Hotel Echo are impeccable, providing a true sense of luxury and tranquility.
As an American, I'm used to having some extra towels and blankets available in the room.

The location of the hotel was perfect, tucked away in a quiet and picturesque spot, away from the noise of the town. We also enjoyed the comfortable and clean rooms, they provided a great place to relax after a day of exploring.
Although our overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of minor downsides. the breakfast could have had a better selection, especially when it came to bread and pastries.
